With its Vignette Collection, IHG Hotels & Resorts is prepared to make your upcoming stay at one of its properties far more opulent.

In August, the company made the announcement that it would be launching a new collection called the Vignette Collection. According to the company, this collection "further improves IHG's fast-growing Luxury & Lifestyle offering for both leisure and business visitors."

It is explained that IHG's Vignette Collection will bring together independent hotels under one cover while also giving owners the ability to maintain their unique identities. The hotels that become part of the collection will receive a significant benefit in the form of the opportunity to participate in the IHG Rewards reward program.

The Chief Executive Officer of IHG Hotels & Resorts, Keith Barr, stated in a statement that "We've been strategic with the enhancements we've made to our Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio in recent years." With more than 400 hotels and 100,000 rooms, the Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio is the second largest in the industry. "With the quick international expansion of Kimpton and Hotel Indigo, as well as the acquisitions of Six Senses and Regent, we have built on the heritage and global success of our InterContinental brand. We anticipate that over one hundred hotels will join the Vignette Collection during the next ten years, and the brand will be essential to achieving our goal of dominating the market in terms of net rooms growth."
